BRAND NEW CLASS: LINE DANCING!

LINE DANCING STARTS MONDAY 29TH SEPTEMBER

6-6:50pm at Trinity Centre, Gosforth High Street (Tyne Hall upstairs)

I’ve had loads of interest in this, so I’m very excited to launch LINE DANCING! Fun line dancing routines to country and pop songs. We will be starting at beginner level.

IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION

I anticipate high demand for this
I will therefore be capping the number of attendees for the launch class to ensure it is not too crowded, so there are LIMITED PLACES (I will assess this after the first class)
So you must PRE-BOOK and PRE-PAY to attend (booking policy applies)
I will only open it to on the day walk ins if there are spaces left - I’ll post here if this is the case

If you want wear something country themed please feel free but you can wear anything you like! YEEEE-HAW

RODEO NIGHT SOCIAL: YEE-HAW!

What an incredible rodeo social event on Saturday! You all looked amazing and as always were up for a laugh!

ZUMBA GOLD TIME CHANGE

Zumba Gold on WEDNESDAY 17TH SEPTEMBER at St. Aidan's Church, Coach Lane, Benton will take place at the later time of 11:30-12:30pm (in order to accomodate a funeral and avoid overlap in the car park).

This is the only class/date affected.

STRICTLY DANCE - TRY IT FOR FREE!

Strictly Dance Fitness returns (Monday 1st September), in time for the lead up to Strictly season!

If you haven't tried this class before you can try your first class FREE - valid for any Monday in September!!

We will be kicking off with a special 'Best of...' edition featuring some of our favourite ever routines and the best ones from the TV Show!

OUTDOOR CLASSES - It's a wrap!

Thanks everyone who joined me during August in Gosforth Central Park for our special Ibiza Clubbercise and Zumba sessions.

It's been a blast running these Clubbercise and Zumba outdoor sessions.

Despite strong wind, a bit of drizzle, and of course sunshine we have managed to run ALL of the scheduled sessions without any cancellations!!

OUR FULL NORMAL INDOOR TIMETABLE RESUMES FROM NEXT MONDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER - So "Strictly Dance", "Clubbercise" and "Clubbercise: Combat + Tone" will all be back with a bang!

TROPICAL VIBES: Theme night June

Thanks to all the fabulous ladies who booked a ticket on the express jet to Zumba Island for our TROPICAL VIBES THEME NIGHT!

Everyone looked so cool in their bright colours, tropical prints, sunglasses etc!

Our playlist was full of totally tropical rhythms inlcuding Calypso, Samba, Sega, Salsa, Tropical beat and more!

Another super fun theme night with some lovely ladies.

Supporting Pride Month during June

FitMixx is a supporter of Pride Month and we will be celebrating with some fabulous Pride themed routines popping up in classes this month...will your favourite anthem make an appearance?

Easter Zumba Gold

Thanks everyone who joined me for a special Easter themed Zumba Gold session on Good Friday. Loved all the bunny ears! We had a boogie to some Easter/chocolate related songs which was good fun and the FitMix Easter bunny (yours truly) delivered some choccy treats!

International Women's Day Fundraiser!

Thanks everyone who supported this event with donating bottles, buying tickets to attend and raffle tickets - WE RAISED £532 FOR CHARITY!!! This brilliant and will be split between Breast Cancer Now and Newcastle Women's Aid.

The costumes were absolutely outstanding!! We had so much fun dancing to our girl power anthems and our strong women inspired quiz! We also had a bottle raffle.

Overall, an uplifting and inspiring evening. Who run the world?...GIRLS!

We had a fantastic week dancing to all things ABBA, with plenty of disco feel-good routines and singing along....and some great costumes too!

Zumba are currently using this song for their 2025 campaign, so we decided to get involved. Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, YEAH!

All of these lovely ladies had randomly been allocated series winners Chris & Diane in our sweepstake

FizzMixx Friday

Lovely to see everyone outside of class who made it to our first social of 2025, Fizz Friday at the end of January! Lots of chatter and a great time had by all.

FitMixx Festive Week: 2024 it's a wrap!

Thank you everyone who joined me for FitMixx festive week - what a fun and special way to end the year! We had such a laugh, thank you for your efforts with costumes.

Classes are now finished for 2024, resuming from Thursday 2nd January 2025.

In the mean time I have online classes available - if you'd like to do an online class please contact me directly.

Fundraiser total £1,135!!

The support for our fundraising for The Stroke Association was absolutely amazing, thank you so much. After selling raffle tickets at classes and then at our Christmas party we managed to raise a mind blowing £1,135!!

Thanks to your kind donations we had some awesome prizes up for grabs... at least 30 bottles (mix of spirits, prosecco, wines), chocolates, jewellery, scarves, beauty gifts, teddies and more.

I'd also like to say a special thank you to the following FitMixx ladies for their generous gift voucher donations: Maureen Brownlees, Vanessa Hammond, Michelle Oddy, Irene Richardson, Aram Uppal, Alison Wilson and Tracy Potter.

FitMixx Christmas Party 2024

The FitMixx Christmas party was on 23rd November and it was EPIC! We had everything going on! Sing a long bingo, a quiz, delicious buffet from The French Oven, a disco, glitter bar and a raffle. We partied non stop. Thanks everyone for coming, I'm buzzing with the amazing feedback and delighted you all enjoyed it.

Halloween 2024! (Beetlejuice theme)

Thanks so much to everyone who turned out on Halloween for our special theme classes at St Nicholas Church and St Aidan's Community Centre. We had some amazing fancy dress costumes, especially for this years theme which was Beetlejuice - well done to all of the fancy dress prizewinners! Hope you all enjoyed the spooky fun and routines.

1 YEAR CLUBBERCISE SPECIAL

We had an awesome time celebrating 1 year since I launched Clubbercise with a special class!!

We had energy shots, rainbow sweets, glow bracelets, a game where some of my clubbers won LED Flashing scrunchies and a special party style playlist!!

MEMORY WALK ZUMBA WARM UP

Great to represent Zumba and warm the crowd up for the Alzheimers Society Memory Walk at South Shields on 5th October 2024. Sun was shining and atmosphere was brilliant!

DISCO BINGO: September social

WHAT A NIGHT! A group of us from classes had the best time at Disco Bingo at the end of September. We danced our socks off and a few of the ladies took home prizes too. So many laughs with a great group of ladies. The event raised over £1000 for the Gosforth Play Park.
